The first ever Winslow High School football team, from 1922, also coached by Bill Mansfield. This photo was taken on Halifax Street, on the current site of the playground. Winslow High School was located on Halifax Street until 1929.
The 1929 Winslow Baseball team. The coach? Bill Mansfield. This photo was taken on the front steps of the brand new high school, which is now the current Jr. High building.
A Winslow/Waterville football game from 1933. This Winslow team was undefeated an un-scored upon. This photo was taken on the Boston Avenue field, which is now where the little league field is located. In the background is the Boston Avenue Elementary School, which was demolished in 1994.
